A true historical tale that includes all the normal elements of a drama: power grabs, some violence, and just a little bit of nudity.  You may think that you know this 11th century story, but there are many twists and turns!  A bit of a tenuous link, but there is a local mention too!

Thu 24th Oct:  The Cullen Viaducts.  FoDH Talk at 2pm (see note above).

Nick Brown is a local Conservation Architect and will give us the story and background of the impressive Cullen viaducts built in 1884 for the Great North of Scotland Railway.

Thu 31st Oct:  Indonesian Textiles.  FoDH Talk at 2pm (see note above).

Ben Heasley is local with an interesting background and a passion for these patterned and widely varying distinctive cloths.   Prepare to be enthralled.
