Romantic Scotland – Community Art

On Saturday 25th May – as part of the Coastal Fringe festival in Banff and Macduff – a number of people each chose a one-twentieth section of one of the Romantic Scotland exhibition paintings – “A View of Tantallon Castle with The Bass Rock” by Alexander Nasmyth.  Original painted in about 1816, it was re-created in parts in 2019, and then re-assembled.

Thank you to everyone that took part in creating this really good result; we’re very impressed.
